Manchester United and Manchester City contest the first Manchester Derby of the new Premier League season at Old Trafford. City are favourites at 2.10 with bet365, with United available at 3.10. The draw can be backed at 3.60.
We expect this to go the way of City who still have prenty of improvement to come under a new manager and with some new players to bed in. United boosted their midfield options with the signings of Yuri Tielemans from Aston Villa and Andre Santos from Chelsea in the summer. Santos is now pushing for a start ahead of Kobee Mainoo after returning from injury. Michael Carrick could also turn to Benjamin Sesko to lead the line after he netted from the bench against Everton but may still prefer the mobility of Cunha.
Man City will need to assess a back injury to Nico O'Reilly but should still be without Jeremy Doku with a calf problem, which could hand new arrival Iliman Ndiaye another chance from the left unless Phil Foden returns after being rested last weekend. Rico Lewis is also struggling to be available but Matheus Nunes is close to a return.
