We expect this to be a close contest between two teams that haven't quite hit top gear this season. Villa's price looks a little too big despite their inconsistent start but the best bet is to back both teams to score. Both sides have good attacking options but have been shaky at the back.

Newcastle have many more options after midfielders Joelinton and Nico González returned to training. Dan Burn is another close to full fitness after missing the start of the season. Getting Will Osula back to lead the line would give the Newcastle manager even more choice in attack.
Villa could bring Pau Torres back into the defence after the draw against Brentford but they do have plenty of attacking threat with Johan Manzambi and Nicholas Jackson starting to find their feet after arriving in the summer.
