Spain vs Belgium - World Cup 2026 Betting Tips (10/07/2026)

Betting Tip:

Belgium or the draw @ 2.25 - bet365

Belgium haven't been at their best this tournament but do seem to be finding some form at the right time. They have plenty of options from the bench and backing them to win or draw looks the value play. Spain are rightly the favourites but it is hard to follow them with much confidence given the prices and the fact they haven't hit top gear yet.

Spain and Belgium meet in the quarter-finals of World Cup 2026. Both teams have struggled to find their best form this tournament but are within touching distance of the semis. Spain are the 1.61 favourites with bet365 to come out on top. Belgium can be backed at 5.25 with the draw priced at 4.00.

We expect a closer contest than the odds suggest. Belgium can cause an upset or take the match to extra-time, so backing them to win or the draw in a double chance bet looks the way to go. They also have good options on the bench that suit playing on the break late on.

Reasons to Follow this Bet

  • Spain have not been at their best this World Cup and might be vulnerable in a close match against Belgium. Backing a double chance of Belgium and the draw looks the value option.

  • Belgium have really strong bench options that will suit playing on the break late on, including Jérémy Doku or Dodi Lukébakio, and forward Romelu Lukaku.

  • Spain struggled against Cape Verde, Uruguay, and Portugal despite winning the latter two. They also conceded late chances against Portugal in injury time.

Spain vs Belgium - Team News

Spain have a settled side at the moment and no major injury issues. Nico Williams is nearing full fitness after a hip issue but it looks like they will continue to use Alex Baena from the left. Mikel Oyarzabal will continue to lead the line.

Belgium boss Rudi Garcia continued to stick with Charles De Ketelaere at the head of their attack against the US and was rewarded as the striker bagged a brace. That will be enough to keep his plac ein the side with Lukaku again limited to late impact. Dodi Lukébakio may have to give way for Jérémy Doku and it looks like Amadou Onana picked up a serious knee injury against USA meaning Hans Vanaken will come in to central midfield.

Spain vs Belgium Line-ups

Spain: Simón - Cucurella, Laporte, Cubarsi, Porro - Rodri, Pedri - Baena, Olmo, Yamal - Oyarzabal.

Belgium: Courtois - De Cuyper, Mechele, Ngoy, Castagne - Tielemans, Vanaken, Raskin - Doku, De Ketelaere, Trossard.
